KPIs, charts, delivery tiles, recommendations, and onboarding.

Access

  • Route: /
  • Sidebar: always shown (no permission or module gate)
  • Offline: available

You can

  • View KPI tiles (Total sales, Invoices, Customers) with period change
  • Switch the active KPI and chart type (line/bar); preferences save via /dashboard/preferences/update
  • Change the date range (presets + custom) to refetch dashboard data
  • Open Out of stock into Inventory with stock filters
  • See recommendation tiles and an onboarding checklist when incomplete
  • If Delivery module + delivery.view: see Today's deliveries, Deliveries pending, and Deliveries On-Hold

You cannot

  • Change chart type or date range while offline (controls disabled; page still loads)
  • See delivery KPI tiles without Delivery module and delivery.view
  • Create or edit business records here (overview only)

How to

Change the date range

  1. Open Dashboard from the sidebar (or go to /).
  2. Click the date-range control (top right).
  3. Pick a preset (for example Last 30 days, Week to date, FY to date) or set a custom From/To, then apply.
  4. KPI tiles and the chart refresh for that range. Your choice is saved for next time.

Switch chart metric or type

  1. Click a KPI tile — Total sales, Invoices, or Customers — to show that series on the chart.
  2. Use the Line / Bar toggle (top right) to change chart style.
  3. Chart type is saved to your preferences.

Open delivery or stock shortcuts

  1. With Delivery access, click Today's deliveries, Deliveries pending, or Deliveries On-Hold to go to Delivery.
  2. Click Out of stock to open Inventory filtered to out-of-stock / low-stock items.

Complete onboarding

  1. If the checklist Let's get your business ready is shown, unfinished tasks list in order.
  2. Click the task CTA to jump to that setup page.
  3. Later tasks unlock after earlier ones are done. Progress shows as X of Y tasks complete.

Use recommendations

  1. Scroll below the KPI tiles for recommendation cards when available.
  2. Follow any action links or item lists on the card to the related area.
